A team of computer scientists, AI specialists, and veterinary medicine researchers developed an AI model to assess puppies for service dog potential. The researchers trained the AI model using data from expert dog trainers who tracked various traits in puppies. After testing the AI model, the researchers found that the AI was more accurate than humans. One AI model achieved a success rate of 80%.
