Brave’s browser one-ups Chrome with its new support for email aliases

Brave has added an email alias feature that lets users register for websites without revealing their primary email address. Users create a Brave account, then can insert an alias into email fields in the browser and have messages forwarded to their real inbox. Brave says the tool is designed to reduce ad tracking and limit exposure if a website storing an address is hacked. The company currently offers five free aliases and says some forwarded mail may initially land in spam while it builds sender reputation.
