The company operates roughly 5,100 vehicles across major Indian cities and is Uber’s largest fleet partner for Uber Black in India. Carrum says it will use the new capital to expand to more cities, improve its technology platform, hire staff, and grow its fleet to about 11,000 vehicles within a year.
