Apple is updating the Vision Pro's hardware with a new M5 chip, offering performance improvements across the board, including faster load times and more responsive web browsing. The upgraded headset will feature a 10-core CPU and GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine, enabling up to 120Hz refresh rates and improved AI capabilities. The new Dual Knit Band accessory will also improve comfort for users, and the improved battery life will extend daily use to 2.5 hours and video playback to 3 hours. The M5 upgrade will be available on October 22, 2025.
