Apple has announced the iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone, more than seven years after Samsung introduced the original Galaxy Fold. The device has a 5.4-inch outer screen, a 7.6-inch inner display, an A20 Pro chip, dual 48-megapixel rear cameras, and Touch ID in a side button instead of Face ID. Apple says it used a custom display material and multilayer adhesive design to reduce the visibility and long-term impact of the screen crease. The Duo starts at $1,999, opens for preorder on October 16th, and goes on sale on October 23rd.
