DOGE Sparks Surveillance Fear Across the US Government

Federal workers are increasingly worried that their communications are being monitored by the Trump administration, according to a new report from WIRED. The report found that some workers have begun avoiding using work computers and phones, and have even taken steps to anonymize their social media accounts. The Department of Homeland Security, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are among the agencies where employees have reported feeling anxious about surveillance.
