Remakes of the first two Dragon Quest games launch in October

• •The remakes will feature HD-2D graphics, a refined battle system, quality-of-life updates, story additions, and new content.
• •A digital-only collection, Dragon Quest HD-2D Erdrick Trilogy Collection, with all three games will also be available for $99.99.

Square Enix announced the upcoming remakes of Dragon Quest 1 and 2, titled Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, set to launch on October 30th. These remakes will be available on multiple platforms and will feature enhanced graphics, gameplay improvements, and new content. The story follows chronologically, with DQIII preceding the events of DQI and II, allowing newcomers to complete the story. In addition to the individual games, a digital collection named Dragon Quest HD-2D Erdrick Trilogy Collection, including all three games, will be available.
