Bluesky is a new social media platform that is growing rapidly. However, the platform is facing some growing pains, including a lack of a conventional verification system. This has led to scammers and impersonators creating fake accounts of notable people. Hunter Walker, an investigative reporter for Talking Points Memo, has been working to verify journalists and other high-profile accounts on Bluesky. He has verified more than 330 people so far.
