Google Drive now offers in-browser video editing

Google has launched Google Vids, a new feature that allows users to edit videos directly within Google Drive. Users can access Vids by clicking the "Open" button while previewing a video in Drive, which then opens the clip in Google Vids. Here, users can trim videos, add text, music, and make other edits to create and save new video files. However, access to Google Vids is limited to paid users, including Google Workspace business and enterprise plans, Gemini users, and those who purchased Gemini add-ons.
