Mastodon is improving profiles and getting ready for quote posts

Mastodon 4.4 brings significant changes to profiles and lists, along with groundwork for quote posts. Profiles now allow featuring hashtags and display pinned posts in a carousel. List creation and management have been significantly streamlined. Quote posts are being implemented in a two-part process: users can see quotes from compatible platforms now, and will be able to actively quote posts in the upcoming 4.5 release.
