Nokian is launching the Hakkapeliitta 01, a new snow tire with automatically deploying studs. Inspired by James Bond's retractable tire studs, these tires adjust based on temperature. The tire's multiple layers allow the studs to extend in cold weather and retract in warmer conditions. Compared to Nokian's Hakkapeliitta 10 tires, the Hakkapeliitta 01 reduces road wear and improves ice grip.
