Take-Two has paused development of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4, following a previous delay from an October 2025 release date. This decision was announced alongside Take-Two's Q3 FY 2026 earnings report, with the company focusing on optimizing the game and delivering post-launch content. Despite this, Take-Two plans to bring more titles to the platform, including 'PGA Tour 2K25' and 'WWE 2K26' for the Switch 2. The announcement also included news about Grand Theft Auto VI, which is still slated for a November 19th, 2026 release with launch marketing beginning this summer.
